Recovru is for roadside emergencies: jobs fixed where the vehicle stands, like a flat battery, a flat tyre or a lock-out, and recoveries that take it somewhere else, from a car to a coach. Pick the job below, or tell us what happened and the app asks the questions for that kind of job.
Operators nearby send one price each and you choose one. The price you choose is the total you pay, with any VAT the operator charges included. Your card is held when you accept and charged when the job is done. If no operator nearby quotes, nothing is held or charged. Cancelling can cost a charge once the operator has set off: see Cancellation and Refunds and the Cancellation Rates.

How the price works
Each operator sends one price for the whole job. You see the prices as they arrive, up to five at a time, before you choose, and each price is the total you pay, with any VAT the operator charges included. Questions
What is the difference between breakdown help and recovery?
Breakdown help fixes the vehicle where it stands. Recovery loads it and takes it somewhere else, such as a garage or your home. After a collision it is always a recovery.
What if I do not know what is wrong?
In the app, choose Tell us what happened; in the web app, choose I’m not sure what’s wrong. The app asks what the problem is, and where a fix at the roadside looks unlikely it suggests recovery instead.
Can I get a van, lorry or coach recovered?
Yes. Choose the vehicle in the app and give its details, and operators nearby whose recovery vehicle suits the job send their prices. If none quote, nothing is held or charged.
Can I book for later?
Yes, up to 30 days ahead. Your request goes to operators one hour before the time you choose.
