Every operator is checked before their first job
You are handing a stranger your vehicle, often at night. These are the checks that make that a reasonable thing to do.
What is checked, and how often
Identity, insurance and screening are verified before an operator can accept any work, and insurance is re-checked when it expires. An operator cannot go online while any check is outstanding. Last reviewed 27 July 2026. Operator terms.

Before any money moves
Nothing is charged until you hand over your codes
Your card is authorised when an operator accepts the job. The money only leaves your account after you have given the codes in person.
What is held, and when
The price is fixed before you book. An authorisation is placed when an operator accepts and the payment is captured only once the codes have been given. If nobody arrives, nothing is taken. Terms of use.
