Roadside help for taxi and private hire companies.

Your drivers request help in the Recovru app, and independent operators send quotes.

Eligible bookings billed to your company

A technician straps a black cab onto a flatbed recovery truck at a taxi depot while a supervisor in hi-vis looks on.

Keep the vehicle details together.

Link the booking to your company.

Vehicle
Registration and fleet number identify the vehicle. Your organisation can ask for a vehicle licence or plate reference where it helps its own records.
Dispatch reference
Use a control job reference or cost centre where required. Do not include passenger names, telephone numbers or trip histories.
Access and adaptations
Tell the operator about wheelchair ramps, vehicle dimensions or access restrictions that affect safe recovery.
Passengers
Your company arranges another suitable taxi or private hire vehicle for passengers where needed. Roadside recovery does not include a passenger journey or replacement taxi.
Statements
Your agreed references stay with each organisation booking and statement. All prices include VAT.
Account access
Only authorised members book on your plan. Your company sees the rescues it pays for, rather than the personal bookings of its drivers.

Agree a plan for your drivers.

  1. Step 1: Contact us with your fleet and the roadside services you need

  2. Step 2: Agree the eligible vehicles and members, booking references and billing

  3. Step 3: Your drivers ask for help in Recovru and accept a suitable operator quote

Questions people ask.

Something else? Contact us.

Is Recovru a taxi booking service?

Recovru arranges roadside help and recovery for vehicles. It does not book passenger taxi trips or provide replacement passenger transport.

Can drivers put a dispatch reference on a booking?

Your organisation can ask for its job reference, fleet number, cost centre or vehicle licence reference. Use operational codes and leave passenger details out.

What about wheelchair-accessible taxis?

Describe the vehicle adaptations, dimensions and loading requirements before an operator quotes. Your company remains responsible for arranging suitable onward transport for passengers.

Is it breakdown cover?

No. It is not insurance or breakdown cover. Independent operators carry out the work, and a plan does not put a booking ahead in a queue.
